Mens Rugby

Tigers senior mens rugby compete in both 15s and 7s. The squad currently competes in the UAE Division 1 and UAE Division 2 leagues. With a good mixture of both seasoned players who have played at the highest level to players who are new to the game, no matter your experience, you will be welcomed into the team.

You will quickly realise you made the right choice when choosing where to play your rugby. Our coaching team is very experienced and we continue to build on the foundations that are already in place. The mens section also competes at 7s tournaments throughout the season including the Dubai 7s which is the biggest event on the rugby calendar in the region.

In the 2022/2023 season, only our 3rd year in Premiership rugby as a club, our men’s top side finished the season as Dubai 7s Gulf Men’s League Champions (2022), UAE President Cup 7s Champions, UAE Premiership Runners Up and West Asia Premiership Runners Up. In the 2023/2024 season the men’s Premiership side sealed back to back Dubai 7s Championships (2023) and went on to go one better and win the West Asia Premiership becoming the first UAE side to take out the highest competition in the Middle East since 2018. The strength of the mens section was personified by the Division 1 side finishing in the top 4 of their comp, and the Division 2 side winning the UAE Division 2 Championship for the first time in the clubs history. Similar success was seen at the Dubai 7s with the men’s Vets team being crowned the 2023 Dubai 7s Gulf Vets Cup Champions.
